It's time for Canton and this one will be a great one! The weather forecast shows nice sunny days -- no rain or wild winds! Sweet Pea will be there! Ki will be there! (see last post for more info) YOU will be there! Here's a little sneak peek at some more things that will be there.......

Yes, in addition to working day and night to get the fantastic new hot spot Winnie & Tulula's open by June 13, she's moving in with me at Canton! I have more big news...

Ki Nassauer of Junk Camp fame is also coming to Canton next week! Ki is an original Junk Queen, regular contributor to Country Home magazine via the 'Cool Junk' column, and co-author of 2 books. She also has one of the biggest Junk Roundups in the Midwest, the Junk Bonanza, every September. She was looking for junking hot spots to hit on her long trip from Florida back to Minnesota and picked Canton. Margo (aka RoboLady) will be showing her around, so be on the lookout for them. Better yet -- come by The Veranda and say hello to Ki on Thursday at noon. We will be hosting a little blogger Meet-n-Greet party with a few refreshments. Stop in and say hello. If you have a book or magazine you want her to sign, feel free to bring it with you. Since they have so much junking to do and so little time, Ki will probably only be able to stay about an hour. Hope you make it by to see us. The Veranda is located at roads 43 & 43A by the creek - across from The Porch.

May Canton

Another Canton weekend has come and gone. Boy, was it busy!! Loved it!! Well, maybe not the tornado weather we had Saturday night. Spent more than an hour in the men's bathroom (closest concrete building) with about 80 other people and pets until the threat passed. It was a bit scary - but no tornado. We had some heavy rains during the night, but Sunday turned out to be a great day!

Loved seeing everyone. Met lots of new friends. Sold a few things, found some new treasures. Getting ready for next month!!
