Texas Rose Show

FINALLY! I'm posting some pictures from the big antique show at Round Top/Warrenton. I was set up at the Texas Rose Show in Round Top -- right across the street from Marburger. First time I've done this particular show and it was great!! Since I only decided to do the show about 3 weeks before it started, I was only able to get a small booth. Next show -- BIG booth!!

Here's a few pictures of my booth -- before I sold stuff and had to re-do it.... And before the camera battery ran down....
(note to self -- don't forget charger next time)

Hope you enjoy the pictures!

We had some magazine shoots at our show. Romantic Country was there and they took pictures of my booth. I was kinda excited as my booth was the only one in the big tent that was photographed. I had to get a picture of them taking pictures.....

And then this is what you get when you 'pimp out Chad'. Chad is one of the dealers in my field. Business was a little slow one day and needed a boost, so I convinced Chad to stand on the main street and draw in some customers. It worked!!! It ended up being a very busy day!! And don't you just love his cute little dog Trixie!

Did you like what you saw?

Well, Chad would make me step on the breaks! Good idea! Your booth looked fantastic! Congratulations on the professional photo shoot! Wow! I came to the blog party and was scheduled to come back to shop for a couple of days, but had to cancel due to my husband's health. So sorry I missed shopping with you! I will definitely catch you in the fall!

Holy cow! Why didn't I make it to your show? Maybe next year, we should have a progressive dinner or poker run or something so we can see everyone's spaces! ugh. And I'm not sure. Did you "pimp out Chad" or did you "pimp Chad out"? I bet you could make money either way! haha Love your space! ~Mindy

Well, I have to say that I liked EVERYTHING that I saw in your last posting :) Your booth looks wonderful - I especially like that 50's prom dress with the pattern tissue flower! I will definitely come down and visit in the fall.

I am so bummed I didn't get to come see your booth! Everytime I planned on leaving the booth Craig was calling me on the phone cause he couldn't take care of customers! I don't know how your crowd was, but at Marburger most everyone came in groups, was a little crazy! And it was pretty steady! Most of my sales were retail so that left me stuck in the booth most of the time! I will make a point to come see you next time before our show starts! I would have done that this time, but I didn't know you were there.

Just think Maggie the Cat, what would your sales have been like if you had stood on 237 dressed like that...triple, maybe?
Your booth looks beautiful. I always say I'm not famous, but I get to hang with those that are!
Girl, you always make ME laugh.

I was there the first week, and was blown away by your booth! In my opinion, it was my FAVORITE of all the booths I saw, pinky swear!

You weren't around, so I couldn't ask, but I took pictures to put on my blog and gush about....

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your look. I'll be back, definitely next spring (it's a long trip).

Maggie, your booth looks awesome! I arrived late to the blog party so I missed meeting quite a few bloggers. Maybe we can meet in the Fall.

Blessings,

Hi sweetie!

For having a "small" booth...you certainly did a GREAT job...especially since you only had 3 weeks to prepare. I will definitely make it a point to come by in the fall!

Take care and have a beautiful rest of the weekend!

Hey girl, the pics look great! I am sorry that I did not get away from Bar W to come visit. In the Fall, I think we need a BLOGGER'S MAP and follow it around so we don't miss a single thing.
See ya down the block in Malakoff,
Hugs, D
